At the beginning of 2016 I set out a small goal for myself. I wanted to read two business related books every three months (8 books for the year). Specifically, I wanted to read books that would motivate, inspire and challenge me as an entrepreneur and would give me additional tools to tackle this thing called 'entrepreneurship'.
So, of the eight books I read, these are the five which where my best reads. This list of books not only highlights books which motivated and inspired me, but the content therein, challenged me far more than I could have expected.
As an avid gamer, owner of an overly excited imagination and a father of a one year old, I sometimes am left pondering on some rather random things. Here is one such random 'thing'. My mind has often left me wondering when and how I will one day introduce my child (or children) to the wonderful fantasy worlds that I have enjoyed while spending countless hours in games like World of Warcraft and StarCraft. Blizzard Entertainment (developers of video games like Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo) have always been the quintessential creators of epic stories and incredible worlds in my books. From the fantastic Sci-Fi story and setting of StarCraft to the stunning worlds and stories of WoW, Blizzard have always managed to captivate and inspire my imagination and this is what I want to share with my family.
So, you can imagine just how elated I was when Blizzard announce their collaboration with Scholastic (the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books) to bring to life a new book series for children (ages 8-12) based on the World of Warcraft franchise. Titled 'World of Warcraft: Traveler', this will be the perfect way for me to someday introduce my children to Azeroth and for Blizzard, it is a Brilliant way to introduce and usher in a new audience to WoW.
