A business, also known as an enterprise, agency, or a firm, is an entity involved in the provision of goods, services, or both to consumers.
There is something very intriguing and even elusive about wine that has had man fascinated and obsessed by it for… well, like forever. Historic documents, Biblical accounts, archaeological finds and folklore all indicate that wine has been around since the civilization of man and even suggests possibly before then. Today wine is enjoyed around the world by all walks of life and the wine industry has experienced a kind of a revolution in recent years.
This ‘wine revolution’ has come about as a result of many new producers entering the global wine industry as well as new consumers taking a liking to this once somewhat reserved drink. A major contributor to both increases is unquestionably the Internet. It has opened markets and introduced wine to a larger (and relatively younger) audience. Crowdfunding has also played a part in this revolution and here I have selected six projects which were of the best that were launched in 2015.
We live in a hyper connected world and the 'Internet of Things' (IoT for short) is the network of physical objects (things) which are embedded with electronics (sensors and connectivity) and software which enables these objects to collect and exchange data - or simple put, 'connected things'. In the home environment, IoT devices/appliances range from simple 'smart' thermostates or lightbulbs to advanced home automation and security elements. Most IoTs are a natural progression of technology of everyday devices that make a lot of sense, some are entirely new devices or innovations, while others are frankly, senseless and outright weird.
Crowdfuding has certainly contributed to the number of IoT devices now available thanks to the creative way people have applied connected technology to solve everyday problems or to simply make life (in a very connected world) a little easier. 2015 saw a considerable amopunt of IoTs launded on varioues crowdfunding platforms and here I have selected those projects which I think are the best.
Sometimes I think the only way I ever actually make it through whole year with out going half crazy is all thanks to the volume of coffee I consume. I am sure I am not the only one and judging by all the coffee related crowdfunding projects that were launched this year, it sure seems like coffee was once again a big hit in 2015.
From maunal hand coffee grinders to fully automated bean-to-cup machines (and everything in between), crowdfunded projects that tapped into the second largest traded commodity in the world made 2015 a great year for crowdfunding coffee addicts. As one of these said crowdfunding coffee addicts, I have selected the top six coffee related projects funded via crowdfunding in 2015.
2015 was an explosive year for crowdfunding! With total funds raised estimated to be almost double that of 2014, with an estimated amount of over US$30 Billion dollars raised. Card game projects funded on crowdfunding platforms also had an explosive year with 'Exploding Kittens' setting crowdfunding records as well as raising a whopping US$8.7 million.
I have backed a few card games over the last few years and I must say that 2015 had some of the most creative, daring and simply put 'fun' games I have seen. Here are the six best crowdfunded card game projects which I think were the best some of which I backed myself (or wish I had)
