Written by Brendan Ihmig

Travelling is to some a grand adventure and yet to other it is the appitamy of a shlep. For everyone, from the frequent business traveller to the occational holiday traveller, there are a few common concerns that nag at us all: luggage, security and comfort. Over the last few years there has been a surge in creative and innovative solutions in the travel market, an industry (apart from the means of travel) which has not seen much noticable innovation over the last few decades.

With the introduction of smart devices and our connect 'global community', there are now a wide range of products available to address the concerns of luggage, security and comfort and crowdfunding platforms have been the launch pad for many of these. 2015 saw some truely remarkable travel projects being sucessfully funded and here I have selected the six which I think were the best.
