Pinstripe - An Adventure Through Hell #KSPOTW

Written by

Kicking of a new series of weekly blog posts titled 'Kickstarter Projects of the Week' (hence the hashtag #KSPOTW), I want to start off with a project that is both 'bizarre and beautiful' as well as an inspiration on a personal level.  Pinstripe - An Adventure Through Hell is a 2D adventure video game about an ex-minister named Teddy who must explore Hell in search of his daughter Bo, who has been kidnapped by a strange entity claiming to be God.

This amazingly artistic looking adventure game is the result of the passion and dedication of a one-man development team and all credit goes to Thomas Brush and his development studio Atmos Games. Thomas has single-handedly been working on Pinstripe for more than three years and just by looking at the artwork and campaign video on Kickstarter, you can see that this project is not just another indie video game, but a fine work of art.

4 Travel apps every traveler needs

Written by

Traveling has different value and meaning to different people. Some live for it and others dread it. Regardless of whether it is for business or leisure, cross country or halfway across the globe, traveling can be both an exciting adventure or a daunting challenge (even both at times).

There are many resources out there, from travel books and guides to smartphone apps and online services, all trying to make traveling more enjoyable and less of a mission. I will be doing some extensive traveling this year and want to share the four apps I use to lighten the burden of the whole process and recommend that every traveler needs.

The Secret Life of Pets

Written by

If you are a pet owner, be that of a dog, a cat, a bird or a fish, I am positive you have wondered what they get up to when you are not at home. The Secret Life of Pets, 3D animated comedy film by Illumination Entertainment, will try to answer that for you. Staring Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Steve Coogan, Ellie Kemper, Bobby Moynihan, Lake Bell, Hannibal Buress and Albert Brooks, The Secret Life of Pets looks is another animation that has animals as the main characters and gives the perspective of the world from their and our view.

From the original trailer and more recent released trailers, it looks like this is going to be a fun watch for the whole family. With amazing animations from the creators of Despicable Me and Minions, cracking comedy from the likes of Louis C.K and Kevin Hart and music by Academy Award winner Alexandre Desplat, this is one animation I am really looking forward to this year.

5 Blogs every traveler should follow

Written by

Over the last few years I have been blessed with being able to travel to various countries for both work and pleasure. This has meant packing and unpacking luggage, spending countless hours waiting in airports, even more hours in-flight, seeing wonderful places, meeting amazing people trying new things and tasting new dishes. I have experiencing a whole host of pros and cons of traveling and yet, every time before I begin preparing for a another trip, I tend to feel like I need to learn more or pick up some extra tips.

There are many travel blogs to find all sorts of travel information, travel hacks and tips for travelers and then you can Google for just about anything and everything. Here are a few travel blogs which I highly recommend and these are five I am following at the moment and think you should too.
